Change workload respository interval setting

1. Check current setting

SQL> select
2        extract( day from snap_interval) *24*60+
3        extract( hour from snap_interval) *60+
4        extract( minute from snap_interval ) “Snapshot Interval”,
5        extract( day from retention) *24*60+
6        extract( hour from retention) *60+
7        extract( minute from retention ) “Retention Interval”
8  from dba_hist_wr_control;

2. Set to 15 mins

SQL> exec DBMS_WORKLOAD_REPOSITORY.MODIFY_SNAPSHOT_SETTINGS(interval => 15);

3. Verify the change

SQL> select
2        extract( day from snap_interval) *24*60+
3        extract( hour from snap_interval) *60+
4        extract( minute from snap_interval ) “Snapshot Interval”,
5        extract( day from retention) *24*60+
6        extract( hour from retention) *60+
7        extract( minute from retention ) “Retention Interval”
8  from dba_hist_wr_control;

Snapshot Interval Retention Interval
—————– ——————
15              11520
